Mrs. Anamika Debnath

Mrs. Anamika Debnath is an Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the School of Fisheries at Techno India University, Tripura, specializing in Aquaculture. She holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Aquaculture, with academic and research expertise in coastal aquaculture, mariculture, and sustainable fish farming practices.\r\nHer research interests focus on aquaculture production systems, fish health management, and coastal resource utilization for enhanced productivity and environmental balance. She has participated in several research studies, farm visits, and field-based projects that emphasize practical learning and innovation in aquaculture systems.\r\nWith a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aquaculture, Ms. Debnath aims to integrate research insights with classroom teaching, guiding students toward sustainable fisheries practices and entrepreneurship in the aquaculture sector. Through her academic contributions and research engagement, she supports TIUT’s vision of advancing quality fisheries education and applied research excellence in Northeast India.
