Dr. Md Azad Hussain

Dr. Md Azad Hussain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Natural Sciences at Techno India University, Tripura. With over two decades of teaching experience, Dr. Hussain has established himself as a dedicated educator and researcher in the field of Pure and Applied Mathematics.\r\nHe holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Tripura University (A Central University), where his research focused on Fuzzy Topology and its applications. He also completed his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Mathematics from the same university, developing a strong foundation in real analysis, algebra, topology, and applied numerical methods.\r\nDr. Hussain’s research expertise spans Fuzzy Topology, Digital Topology, Fuzzy Logic, Real and Complex Analysis, Probability and Statistics, and Numerical Methods. His scholarly contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals such as the Journal of the Tripura Mathematical Society and Acta Ciencia Indica, among others. His works on Fuzzy pre-open sets, Fuzzy semi-Alexandroff spaces, and Fuzzifying topologies have added significant value to mathematical theory and its interdisciplinary applications, particularly in computational modelling and image processing.\r\nIn the classroom, Dr. Hussain is known for his engaging and concept-driven pedagogy, teaching a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Engineering Mathematics (I–III), Real and Complex Analysis, Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Algebra, Mechanics, and Numerical Analysis. He has mentored numerous students in their research pursuits and academic development.\r\nBeyond teaching and research, Dr. Hussain actively contributes to academic service, curriculum development, and STEM outreach programs. He is a member of the Tripura Mathematical Society (TMS) and continues to promote mathematical learning and innovation through conferences and community initiatives.\r\nThrough his extensive experience, scholarly contributions, and dedication to academic excellence, Dr. Md. Azad Hussain continues to uphold the standards of Techno India University, Tripura, contributing to its mission of fostering research-driven, globally competitive education in the field of mathematics and beyond.
