Dr. Doyal Debnath

Dr. Doyal Debnath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Natural Sciences at Techno India University, Tripura. She earned her M.Sc. in Mathematics from Tripura University, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence, and subsequently obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2014. She has also qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the North-East Region.\r\nBefore joining TIUT, Dr. Debnath served as an Assistant Professor at Rajarshi College of Education and Skills and as a Guest Lecturer at several premier institutions in Tripura, including Women’s College, Bir Bikram Memorial College, and Ramthakur College. With nearly a decade of teaching experience, she has established herself as a dynamic educator and dedicated researcher.\r\nHer research expertise lies in Applied Mathematics, particularly in the Mechanics of Materials and Elasticity. Her work explores elasto-plastic problems of circular disks, thermal stresses in rotating annular disks, and the buckling and vibration of plates and shells with variable thickness and density. She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed research publications and continues to pursue innovative approaches to mathematical modelling.\r\nDr. Debnath is proficient in integrating computer-aided mathematical tools and programming languages such as C and Python into her teaching and research methodologies, fostering a technology-driven learning environment. Her student-centric approach, coupled with her strong analytical background, encourages conceptual understanding and applied problem-solving among learners.\r\nThrough her commitment to research, pedagogy, and academic service, Dr. Doyal Debnath exemplifies the scholarly excellence and innovative spirit that define Techno India University, Tripura, as a leading institution for science and mathematics education in Northeast India.
