Ms. Arundhuti Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Behavioural Health, School of Health Science and Translation Research at Techno India University, Tripura. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology from Tripura University, with research focused on the mental health of adolescents, young adults, and indigenous communities.\r\nHer academic expertise spans multiple areas of psychology, including Abnormal, Counselling, Cognitive, Positive, Industrial, Biopsychology, and Social Psychology. She has published research articles addressing the mental health of adolescents, youth, and marginalized groups, reflecting her deep engagement with community-based psychological studies.\r\nMs. Roy is actively involved in conducting mental health awareness programs and student counselling sessions on topics such as stress management, examination anxiety, depression, and suicide prevention. Her approach combines academic rigour with empathy and preventive psychology, empowering students to develop emotional resilience and positive coping mechanisms.\r\nBeyond her academic contributions, she also brings creativity and balance through her interests in music, art, and literature, viewing them as vital tools for emotional expression and holistic well-being.\r\nThrough her research-driven teaching, compassionate counselling, and active social engagement, Ms. Arundhuti Roy exemplifies TIUT’s mission of promoting academic excellence, emotional intelligence, and societal well-being, thereby contributing to the University’s growing prominence as a leading institution for behavioural and psychological sciences in Tripura.
