Ms. Paramita Bhowmik is a Lecturer in the Department of Allied Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences and Translational Research, at Techno India University, Tripura. She holds a Master of Science in Emergency and Critical Care from Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, and a Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology from the Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences under Tripura University.\r\nHer academic and clinical training has provided extensive hands-on experience in Critical Care Units (ICU, SICU, HDU, NICU) and Operation Theatres, across multiple specialties. Professionally, she has served as an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy Technologist at Unity Gastro & Liver Hospital and as an OT Technologist Trainee at IQ City Medical College and Hospital, Durgapur. Prior to joining TIUT, she was a Lecturer at ICFAI University, Tripura.\r\nMs. Bhowmik’s teaching focuses on developing competency-based learning in Critical Care Technology, Emergency Medicine, and Anaesthesia Practices, bridging theoretical concepts with real-world clinical applications. She has published her research in the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research, where her work examined serum sodium levels in chronic liver disease patients.\r\nShe actively participates in faculty development programs, workshops, and academic training sessions to enhance her pedagogical skills and clinical knowledge. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes evidence-based learning, practical exposure, and professional ethics to nurture the next generation of skilled healthcare professionals.
