Mr. Arup Kumar Saha

Er. Arup Kumar Saha serves as the Security and Estate Manager at Techno India University, Tripura, bringing over two decades of distinguished experience in defence aerospace operations, quality assurance, and academic facilitation. A seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer, he holds an M.Tech in Design Engineering from BITS Pilani and certifications in Security Management of Strategic Installations, Aircraft Maintenance, and Quality Management (AS9100D).\r\nPrior to joining TIUT, Mr. Saha served as a Learning Facilitator at BITS Pilani, where he mentored engineering students, contributed to curriculum design, and supported research-led academic development. His illustrious career in the Indian Air Force encompassed leadership roles in aircraft maintenance, training, and operational security, including the rare distinction of serving on “India One”, the VVIP aircraft dedicated to the Hon’ble President and Prime Minister of India, managing its operational readiness on multiple international missions.\r\nHis expertise extends to aircraft structure design, fatigue analysis, security systems, and inventory optimization. His M.Tech research on the “Effect of Low Temperature on Fatigue Crack Propagation of Aluminium Aircraft Structures” underscores his technical acumen and analytical depth.\r\nAt TIUT, Mr. Saha integrates his engineering expertise with strategic management, ensuring institutional safety, operational efficiency, and quality infrastructure management. His leadership continues to strengthen TIUT’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and secure campus operations—further reinforcing its reputation as a premier university in Tripura.\r\n
